Our Sauvignon Blanc was fermented in 100% stainless steel drums with native yeast at a controlled 60° F. When primary fermentation was complete, the wine was then sulfured to prevent Malolactic fermentation. The wine was then aged on the lees and stirred twice a week before being bottled.

Winemakers are calling the vintage “the tale of two harvests,” making it one of the more unique vintages in recent history.
Our 2022 single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc opens with a bouquet of elderflowers, yellow peach, and a zest of lemon. Leading to a palate that is crisp and refreshing with a balanced finish of passionfruit, honeydew, and a hint of grapefruit juice. This wine can be a fantastic match with a goat cheese salad or dish with smoked salmon!
The historic Priest Ranch is now part of the Somerston Estate, a significant property totaling 1,682 acres with 244 acres planted to hillside vineyards. The wines of Priest Ranch are blends from multiple blocks that showcase the diversity and complexity of the combined property. The 2022 vintage of our Priest Ranch Sauvignon Block comes exclusively from Block 71.
